About Truckers Edge

Why We Started

I started Truckers Edge after noticing something in one of my other logistics businesses. Drivers were buying their own cab supplies — cleaning products, a decent torch, general bits to make the job easier — one item at a time, wherever they could find them.

When I asked them what they actually wanted, the answer was the same every time: one place to buy it all in one go. But more than that, they wanted it to actually be good. Not the cheap, discount-bin version that stops working after ten minutes. Torches that kept going missing. Mugs that never made it back to the cab. Phone cradles that, frankly, should have been provided by their employer in the first place — using a phone at the wheel without one isn’t just inconvenient, it’s against the law.

That’s the gap Truckers Edge fills: proper driver essentials, sourced properly, in one simple order.

What Matters to Us

We’re not trying to be a discount supplier. Truckers Edge is built around two things: convenience and quality.

I originally considered adding consumables — tea, coffee, whitener, protein bars, sanitiser — to the range, but decided to keep the focus tight. Proper cab essentials, done properly, rather than trying to be everything to everyone. Every product in a Truckers Edge pack earns its place because it’s genuinely useful and built to last, not because it was the cheapest option on the shelf.

Built on Real Logistics Experience

I’ve spent over 50 years in the logistics industry — as a senior manager, and as a business owner. That’s not a guess at what drivers might want; every product decision here is grounded in firsthand knowledge of how drivers think, what they actually deal with day to day, and what genuinely makes a shift easier.
